- Open Vitral from your Applications folder. Then eject the Vitral disk in the Finder’s sidebar and move Vitral.dmg to the Trash.
Vitral for Mac is signed by POV Group LLC and notarized by Apple, so macOS lets it open normally. If macOS ever blocks it, don’t bypass it: download a fresh copy from this page.
The first time you open it
Vitral lives in the menu bar at the top of your screen, not in the Dock. It opens its settings on Permissions and asks for two things:
- Screen Recording, so it can show the windows you pick on your iPhone or iPad. Nothing is recorded or saved. After you allow it, macOS offers to quit and reopen Vitral. Choose Quit & Reopen.
- Accessibility, so your iPhone or iPad can click, scroll and type on your Mac and choose from its menus, and so Vitral can move and size the window it shows.
If macOS asks whether Vitral can find devices on your local network, click Allow. Then open Vitral on your iPhone or iPad, tap your Mac and pair it once: scan the code your Mac shows, or type it. Over a USB cable, the two pair by themselves. Get Vitral for iPhone and iPad from the App Store.
